Blog Entry: A recent conversation with a young Jamaican female ended with her almost foaming at the mouth, mainly because she (and others like her) had witnessed Jamaican men having kids and even marrying woman of different races and me not seeing a problem with it only made her more furious. This was not my first experience with Jamaican or black woman's anger claiming that they (other races ) are stealing us away. First and foremost the men are not being raped and kept in bondage (unless u believe inna obeah, and even then they were willing participants to some point), people choose to procreate with whomever they want to/have access to. I am not in Jamaica where the main choice is one of our own. Not to boast but my experience virtually spans the globe but these women were either born or raised in the U.S so their customs are mostly American with some influences of the "old country" not enough to cause a clash of beliefs, customs or even food choices. Ladies, the bottom line is if we are with someone else; just wasn't meant to be with you or one of your sisters.
